Overview
What mantacharts is, how to open it and how this documentation is organized.
mantacharts is your workstation for charts and market data. You see crypto, stocks, macro series, forex and commodities in one chart, plus order flow, over a hundred indicators, 87 drawing tools, widgets such as the order book and trade tape, alerts and your own scripts in CoinScript. Everything you set up stays saved in your workspace.
Open the terminal
- Click Charts in the app's navigation. The terminal opens with Bitcoin.
- Choose another symbol with the symbol button at the top left or with CtrlSpace.
- Each symbol has its own address, for example
/charts/ethfor Ethereum. You can save this address as a bookmark.
The terminal fills the app's content area: the navigation and header stay, and you reach the profile menu through your avatar at the top right. If the terminal is narrower than 760 px, on a phone for example, it switches to the mobile view. How that works is explained under Mobile.
The introduction
On your first visit on a computer, the introduction starts after a short moment (“Introduction · about 1 minute”). Start tour takes you in ten steps through symbol, timeframe, indicators, drawing tools, scanner, widgets, code, layouts and search. Later closes it. You can restart it at any time through Profile menu → Introduction.
Ready in five minutes
- Choose a symbolClick the symbol button at the top left or press CtrlSpace. More on this in Symbol search.

- Set an alertAltA opens an alert at the price under the mouse pointer, otherwise at the last price. See Alerts.
- SaveThe desk is saved automatically. CtrlS saves it to the open layout, otherwise as a new layout. See Layouts.
Plans
Some features carry a Plus or Pro badge, for example Replay (Plus), Footprint (Pro) or multi-chart with more than four charts (Pro). If you click them, the terminal shows which plan includes them. Which feature belongs to which plan is listed under Account & settings.
