Workspaces & sharingPublish

Publish

Share your own layouts and CoinScript indicators publicly or only with people you invite.

You can share your own layouts and your own CoinScript indicators with other members. Both go through the same dialog: you choose who may see and use something, enter a name and a description, and publish.

Before you start

  • You must be signed in to publish. Otherwise you see “Please sign in to publish.”
  • Others see you as the author under your Discord name, for example “by @name”.
  • A layout is published in the state it had when it was saved. To share a newer state, save it as a new layout and publish that one.

Open the dialog

  • Layout: Top bar → Layout → My layouts → Publish in the layout's row. If it is already published, the button is called Manage.
  • Indicator: Top bar → Indicators → Custom → Publish or Manage in your script's row. How to write your own indicators is covered in the CoinScript section, and what else applies when sharing scripts under Sharing scripts.

Visibility

Under VISIBILITY you choose one of two cards. For a private layout or script, the dialog opens with Public preselected.

VisibilityLayoutsIndicators
PublicAnyone can find it under Discover and apply it.Anyone can find it under Community and add it to the chart.
Invite onlyVisible under Discover. Only people you give access can apply it.Visible under Community. Only people you give access can use it.

If you choose Invite only, the sections for invitations, invite links and requests appear below. How they work is explained under Invitations and access.

Details

  • Name: required, up to 60 characters. Without a name, Publish stays grayed out.
  • Description: optional, up to 500 characters. What is the layout for, what does the indicator show?
  • Category (indicators only): Indicators, Order flow, On-chain or Macro. The indicators menu uses this to file your indicator.
  • Source code (indicators only): Published scripts are always Open. Others can view and copy the code. Protected code is not available yet.

Below the dialog title you can see at all times what your entry will be called, for layouts with pair, interval and number of indicators.

Publishing

  1. Choose the visibility.
  2. Enter a name and a description.
  3. Click Publish.

A message confirms that your entry is now public or was published invite only. Cancel closes the dialog without changing the visibility or the texts.

What others see

A public layout appears in the layout browser under Discover → All with the Community filter, and under Trending if it gets enough use. The card shows the name, pair, interval, the number of indicators and how many traders have opened it. The trending carousel also shows your name. Anyone who applies it gets your chart settings, indicators, heatmap and widgets, but not your drawings.

A public indicator appears under Indicators → Community with “by @name”, your description and + Add.

On the Community page, the three newest public layouts appear under Community layouts and the three newest public indicators under Community indicators, each with your name and profile picture, when you published them and how many people already use them. One click opens the layout on the chart or adds the indicator. Invite-only entries do not appear there.

With “Invite only”, everyone sees the entry with the Invite only badge. Instead of applying, it offers Request access. People who have access see Invited.

A layout's description appears on the invitation page that opens from an invite link.

In My layouts you can see below each published layout how it is doing, for example “184 traders · public since Sep 2, 2026”. For invite-only layouts it says, for example, “3 with access · 1 link · 1 open request”.

Change and unpublish

Manage opens the dialog again, now with the title “Manage publication”. Below the title it says how long the entry has been published.

  • Change the visibility, name, description and category, and confirm with Save. You see “Changes saved”.
  • Unpublish (bottom left) makes the entry private again. Others can no longer find it, and your invite links lead to the message “This content is no longer published.” Your invitations and links stay saved.
Tip. You can switch between Public and Invite only at any time. Choose the other card in the dialog and click Save.
