Connect Hyperliquid
Connect your Hyperliquid wallet read-only, with trades automatically in the journal and positions and orders on the chart and in the widget.
When you connect your Hyperliquid wallet, the terminal fetches your real trades and shows your account. The connection is read-only: you enter your wallet's public address, no key and no signature. mantacharts can't trade or withdraw anything with it.
Connecting
- Open Settings → Connections. The super search (CtrlK) finds the page under “Connections” or “Hyperliquid”.
- Under Trading → Hyperliquid, enter your wallet address,
0xand 40 characters. If you trade through a subaccount, use its address. - Click Connect.
You need to be signed in for this. When you connect, the terminal makes a one-time fetch of the entire history Hyperliquid keeps (the last 10,000 fills) and logs every closed position in the trading journal. A message tells you how many trades there were.
Disconnect removes the connection. The trades in the journal stay. If you connect a different address, it replaces the old one.
Trades in the journal
A trade in the journal is a position from its opening until it's back at zero:
- Entry: the average of all buys or sells that opened or increased the position
- Exit: the average of all fills that reduced or closed it
- Size: the position value at entry
- Fees: what the fills actually paid, not the flat 0.05% per side. A maker rebate lowers them.
The result is therefore the same as the realized PnL on Hyperliquid, minus fees. Funding payments are not included. If a fill flips the position, for example from long to short, it closes one trade and opens the next.
The trade comes without a stop and without a setup. You add both in the details: Stop (for R) calculates the R, and the Setup chips categorize the trade for the statistics. A position that closed through a liquidation has the note “Liquidated”.
If a position was already open before the history begins, the terminal doesn't know its entry. It doesn't go into the journal, but the next position on that market does. Such markets are listed below the Hyperliquid card.
When new trades arrive
- when the terminal starts
- when you open the journal
- a few seconds after a position has changed
- with Sync now in the journal or in the connections, Sync in the widget
Each trade goes into the journal only once. If you delete one, it stays deleted.
In the widget
The Paper trading widget has the Paper | Hyperliquid switch at the top. Under Hyperliquid, you see your real account:
- Equity, Open PnL and Available (what you could withdraw)
- Positions: direction, leverage, cross or isolated, open PnL with return on margin, entry, mark and liquidation price, quantity, value and margin
- Orders: limit orders and the triggers for take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL)
- History: the trades from Hyperliquid in the journal. Clicking one opens the trade in the journal.
On Hyperliquid opens the market directly on Hyperliquid. For now, you place orders there; the terminal doesn't trade on its own yet.
The account is re-read every 5 seconds and the orders every 15 seconds, as long as the tab is visible.
On the chart
Positions and orders of the chart symbol appear as lines on the chart, as in paper trading, but with “HL” in front: the entry with direction, leverage and open PnL (“HL Long 10× · +$12.34”), the liquidation price, limit orders in yellow, and TP and SL.
Markets
The terminal maps Hyperliquid markets to its own symbols, for example kPEPE to PEPE with the price per coin. A market the terminal doesn't know keeps its name on Hyperliquid and can't be opened in the chart. The terminal doesn't fetch spot trades, only perpetuals.
