GlossaryHyperliquid stop/TP map
Hyperliquid stop/TP map
The Hyperliquid Stop/TP map shows at which prices open positions on Hyperliquid would be closed: by stop-loss orders, take-profit orders or liquidation. Unlike the liquidation heatmap, it is not an estimate but a sum of real orders and liquidation prices. It covers the largest accounts, not every position.
What you see
- Bars on the right edge, stacked per level: stop-loss in red right at the edge, take-profit in cyan to the left of it, then liquidations in yellow. The length is relative: the level with the largest sum of the enabled types fills the set width.
- Amounts on the four largest levels, in millions of USD (“M”). Levels that are too close together, or whose label would collide with other labels, get no amount.
- Header at the top right, such as “HYPERLIQUID · 803 POSITIONS · largest accounts”: how many positions the map counts. If the data shown is no longer fresh, the time is added, such as “· as of 14:30”.
How to read it
- Large stop-loss levels are prices at which many positions would be closed by market order. If the price runs there, the stops can accelerate the move.
- Liquidation levels work in a similar way, often even more strongly, because they trigger regardless of what traders want.
- Take-profit levels are orders against the move: traders take profits there, which can slow a move down.
- Below the price sit the stops and liquidations of longs and the take-profits of shorts; above it, the stops and liquidations of shorts and the take-profits of longs.
Limitations
- The map shows only one venue, and only its largest accounts. Orders from other exchanges and smaller accounts are missing.
- It is a picture of the current state, not a history: the bars apply to now, not to the candles next to them.
- Orders can be changed or deleted at any time. A large level is a snapshot, not a promise.
- The map is available for crypto symbols with a Hyperliquid market.
