Layouts

Save your own layouts, apply official mantacharts layouts and community layouts, mark favorites.

A layout is a named workspace in your library: chart settings, indicators, heatmap, widgets and drawings (see Workspace and saving). Besides your own layouts, you will find the official layouts from mantacharts and layouts that other members have published.

The layout menu

In the top bar, hover over the name next to Layout (with the small arrow) or click it. The menu is laid out as in TradingView:

  • Save layout (CtrlS, Mac: CmdS): saves to the open layout. If none of your layouts is open, a new one is created. If nothing has changed, the row is grayed out.
  • Autosave: If the switch is on, the terminal saves changes to the open layout by itself after a few seconds, without a message. The setting applies to this browser and is on at first.
  • Copy link: copies the link to the open layout. Others can only open it if the layout is published.
  • Make a copy…: saves the current state as a new layout, with “Name (copy)” suggested.
  • Rename…: gives the open layout a new name.
  • + Create new layout…: asks for a name and creates an empty layout: one chart, no indicators, no drawings, on the symbol currently on the chart. Changes to the previous layout are saved first.
  • RECENTLY USED: your five most recently used layouts with pair and interval (“BTC/USDT, 1h”). The open one has a check mark.
  • Publish as analysis (editors only) and My analyses….
  • Open layout…: all your layouts as a compact list with search, folders and sorting (last changed or name A–Z). Each row shows pair, interval and the time of the last change. The star marks favorites, and Rename and Delete appear when you hover. Manage all layouts leads to the layout browser.
  • Discover layouts…: official mantacharts layouts and community layouts.

In the super search (CtrlK), “Open layout menu” opens the same menu.

How many layouts of your own you can save depends on your plan: 10 in Free, 50 in Plus, 200 in Pro. If you are signed in, they are stored in your account and available on every device. Without signing in, they stay in this browser. Your account takes them over the first time you sign in.

You can rename and delete your layouts under Open layout…. Overwriting, sorting into folders and publishing are done under My layouts in the layout browser (see below).

The layout browser

To open it:

  • Top bar → Layout
  • Super search → “Discover layouts”
  • Profile → Marketplace
  • On your phone: More → Layouts or Menu → Layouts

At the top you choose between Discover, My layouts and Favorites. The Search layouts field searches names and authors and jumps to Discover → All.

Discover

Trending shows up to five of the most used layouts as a carousel. It counts how many members opened a layout in the last seven days, then total use. The heading says what the order is based on, for example “Top 5 · most used this week”. If there are no numbers yet, it shows the newest layouts from mantacharts, then those from the community. Click a card at the side to bring it to the center, or use the arrow keys. Below the center card you see the author, interval, number of indicators, the number of traders and + Add.

All lists every available layout:

  • All / Official / Community filters by origin. Official shows only the layouts published by mantacharts, newest first. Community shows the layouts of other members.
  • Top sorts by the number of members who use a layout. One click switches to New, sorted by publication date. Official opens with New.
  • On the right you switch between Grid and List.

Each card shows a preview, the name, the number of traders, pair, interval and number of indicators, the star for favorites and Apply.

The preview

The preview is an image of the Charts tab as the layout looked when it was created or last saved: the chart with its panes and the widget columns next to it, without a frame or watermark. Each of your layouts gets such an image, private ones as well as published ones. If you publish a layout, other members see the same image under Community. What belongs only to you is not in the image: your drawings, displayed analyses, your positions and orders, and an open idea. They disappear from the chart for a moment for this.

  • The image is created when you save a layout as new (also with Make a copy…), and is replaced with every Save layout (CtrlS) and Overwrite.
  • Autosave only takes an image if the layout does not have one yet.
  • + Create new layout… does not take an image of the empty chart. The image is created the first time you save after changing something.
  • If you open one of your layouts that has no image yet, the terminal takes one after a few seconds, once the chart has loaded and you have not changed anything.
  • Imported layouts, templates and layouts in this browser without sign-in have no image. Their card shows a schematic graphic that depends on the type of layout. The same graphic appears if an image cannot be loaded.
  • For Invite only layouts you have no access to, the card shows only the graphic.

Badges on the cards:

BadgeMeaning
Invite onlyOnly invited people can apply it. The button is called Request access or, after your request, Requested.
InvitedYou have been given access and can apply it.
Pro with lockThe template needs a higher plan than yours. This applies to the TPO template.

My layouts

All your own layouts appear here as rows: preview (the image of your layout, see above), name, visibility (Public, Invite only or Private), pair, interval and indicators. Published layouts have a line below, such as “184 traders · public since Sep 2, 2026” or “3 with access · 1 link · 1 open request”. The open layout is marked Active.

On the right of each row:

  • Overwrite: saves the current state of your workspace to this layout. The terminal asks once to confirm.
  • Rename: The name becomes an input field; Enter saves, Esc cancels. The content of the layout stays as it is.
  • Folder: moves the layout to a folder. You choose an existing folder, No folder or New folder….
  • Delete: removes the layout after a confirmation. If it was published, invitations, links and other people's favorites disappear too. This cannot be undone.
  • Publish (for private layouts) or Manage (for published ones). More on this under Publish.
  • the star for favorites
  • Open

#### Folders

Above the rows are your folders: All, No folder and each folder with the number of its layouts. One click shows only the layouts in that folder. + Folder creates a new folder. It stays once you move a layout into it. When a folder is selected, you can rename or remove it. When you remove a folder, the layouts stay and then have no folder. A layout you save while a folder is selected goes straight into that folder. Only you can see folders, even for published layouts.

#### Import

Import reads a file with many layouts (coindome.layouts), for example your converted TradingView layouts. The layouts end up in the folders the file specifies. During the import, the button counts along (“Importing 37 / 278…”). If you import the same file again, the layouts are overwritten and not created twice. You must be signed in to import.

Favorites

The star on a card or row marks a layout as a favorite, and a second click removes the star. Under Favorites you find all marked layouts, the most recently marked at the top. This works with your own, official and community layouts. If you are signed in, your favorites are stored in your account, otherwise in this browser.

Official layouts

Official lists only the layouts published by mantacharts, newest first, with the image of the chart as mantacharts saved it. They open like the layouts of other members (see below).

What other members publish appears under Community, never under Official. Their cards also show the image of the chart created when saving.

What happens when you open a layout

  • Your own layouts replace your workspace completely, with the drawings that were on them when saved. A message names the loaded layout.
  • Templates among your favorites are applied over your workspace: interval, chart type and indicators come from the template and replace your previous indicators. Your drawings, widgets, chart colors and heatmap settings stay.
  • Layouts of other members bring their chart settings, indicators, heatmap and widgets, but not their drawings. Your own drawings stay.

The following applies to all three:

  • Your own layouts and layouts of other members open on their own symbol: if a different one is on the chart, the terminal switches there first. Templates are applied to the symbol currently on the chart.
  • Drawings with Sync globally always stay on the chart.
  • Opening is a single step in the history: CtrlZ brings back your previous workspace.
  • If you are signed in and open a template or another member's layout, it counts toward that layout's traders.

If you try to open a layout without access, you see “You need an invitation for this layout.” and the layout browser shows it to you with Request access.

Tip. You can adapt a layout you like after applying it and keep it as your own with + Save current layout.
