Invitations and access
With “Invite only” you give individual members access, send invite links and answer requests.
If you publish a layout or an indicator as Invite only, everyone sees the entry, but only people you give access can use it. For this, the publish dialog has four sections: ACCESS, INVITE LINKS, REQUESTS and WITH ACCESS. How to open the dialog is explained under Publish.
Invite members
In the ACCESS section:
- Under Username, enter the member's name, with or without “@”. This is the Discord name the terminal also shows elsewhere, for example in “by @name”.
- Choose the Access duration: Unlimited, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
- Click Invite or press Enter.
The member appears under WITH ACCESS. As soon as the entry is published invite only, they get a notification that you invited them. Possible messages: “@name was not found.”, “@name already has access” or “That's you.”
Below that, you turn Allow access requests on or off. If it is on, others can ask for access under Discover (layouts) or Community (indicators).
Invite links
A link gives access to anyone who opens it while it is valid. This is handy for a group, such as a Discord channel.
- Under INVITE LINKS, click New link.
- Enter a Label, for example “Discord Plus” or “Trial week”. Without a label, the link is called “Link 1”, “Link 2” and so on.
- Set:
- Link expires: 24 h, 7 days, 30 days or Never
- Max. uses: 1, 10, 50, 100 or Unlimited
- Access per person: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or Unlimited
- Check the summary below, for example “Valid until Oct 16, 2026 · max. 50 uses · access 30 days”.
- Click Create link. The link goes straight to the clipboard, and you see “Link created and copied”.
New links start with 7 days of validity, 10 uses and 7 days of access per person. A link ends in a six-character code that leaves out easily confused characters such as 0 and O.
Each link in the list shows:
- its status: Active, Expired, Used up or Revoked
- the address and, for limited uses, a bar showing how much has been used
- a line such as “23 / 50 used · valid until Oct 31, 2026 · access 30 days”
- Copy (active links only) and Revoke link
Revoking takes effect immediately. The message that follows has an Undo button in case you clicked by mistake.
What invited people see
When someone opens your invite link:
- If signed in, the invitation is redeemed immediately. The terminal opens with your layout on its symbol, or for an indicator, on the BTC chart with your indicator.
- If not signed in, the page shows the name, “Layout by @name” or “Indicator by @name”, your description and how long the access lasts. Sign in to accept the invitation leads to the sign-in and then back to the invitation.
If the link leads nowhere, the page says why: the link is invalid, expired, has been used as often as allowed or was revoked, or the content is no longer published. People who already have access can still get in through an expired or used-up link.
Access requests
This is how another member sends a request:
- They see your entry marked Invite only and click Request access.
- A message confirms that the request was sent to you, and the button now shows Requested.
- Under Profile → Notifications you get a message that this member would like access. Clicking it opens your dialog.
REQUESTS lists all open requests with their time, for example “Requested 5 min ago” or “Requested yesterday”. Click Accept or Decline. When you accept, the Access duration you chose above under ACCESS applies. Anyone who is accepted gets a notification that access was granted and how long it lasts.
If Allow access requests is off, a request for a layout is declined with “Access requests aren't allowed for this layout.” For indicators, the indicators menu then only shows the gray note Invite only.
With access
WITH ACCESS lists everyone who has access, with a line such as “since Sep 12, 2026 · until Dec 15, 2026” or “since Sep 12, 2026 · unlimited”. Remove access at the end of the row withdraws access immediately. If you have not invited anyone yet, it says “No one invited yet.” When access expires, the entry is locked for that person again, and they can send a new request.
