Analyses
Show the Elliott Wave analyses published by mantacharts directly on the chart and manage your own analyses.
The Analyses menu holds the Elliott Wave counts that mantacharts has published for the symbol on your chart. With one toggle, you place a count directly on the price, complete with wave labels, channels, and levels, just as the analyst drew them.
Opening
Top bar → Analyses. The number on the button shows how many analyses are currently displayed. In the super search (CtrlK, Mac: CmdK), you'll find the menu under “Analyses”.
Structure
- At the top, you see “Elliott Waves” with the symbol and interval, for example “BTC · 1 h”, and on the right the All toggle, which shows or hides all analyses at once.
- Below that, each analysis has a row with a small line pattern in its color, the title, a short description, and a toggle. The description is cut off after two lines; the full text is in the tooltip.
- At the bottom, there is a note about the display; below it, Manage my analyses → takes you to your own analyses.
The list applies to the symbol on the chart. If you switch symbols, you see that symbol's analyses.
What appears on the chart
An analysis that is turned on shows exactly what the analyst drew on the chart: wave labels, channels, levels, Fibonacci, and text, in the analyst's colors. The terminal adds nothing: no target zone of its own, no invalidation line, and no label for the next wave.
My analyses
You manage analyses you have saved or published yourself under My analyses: in the Analyses menu via Manage my analyses →, or in the super search (CtrlK, Mac: CmdK) under “My analyses”. The list shows your analyses on all symbols, with the most recently changed at the top. The search field finds one by name, symbol, or interval, and the dropdown next to it shows only those of one symbol.
Each row gives the name, symbol, interval, number of drawings, and last change, plus a Public or Private badge.
- + Save current chart as analysis creates a new analysis with your chart's drawings, indicators, interval, chart type, and scale. It is private: only you can see it.
- Open switches to the analysis's symbol and interval and places its drawings on your chart, so you can keep editing them. CtrlZ undoes this.
- Refresh overwrites the analysis with the current chart: drawings, indicators, interval, chart type, and scale. The row first asks “Overwrite with the current chart?”. This only works if the chart shows the analysis's symbol. Name, link, and visibility stay the same.
- Rename turns the name into an input field: Enter saves, Esc cancels.
- Delete asks “Really delete?” in the row. A deleted analysis also disappears from the list of published analyses and from your other devices as soon as they reload.
- Publish shows the analysis to all members in the Analyses menu; Make private takes it out again. Only editors can publish; otherwise, your analyses stay private. You can make any of your analyses private.
When you're signed in, your analyses live in your account and follow you to every device. If you aren't signed in, they stay in this browser only.
Good to know
- If you hide the price in the Layers panel, the analyses shown on it disappear too.
- If a symbol has no analysis yet, the menu says “No published analyses for BTC yet.” If the published analyses can't be reached at the moment, it says “Published analyses can't be reached right now.”
- Which analyses are displayed is part of your workspace. You can undo showing or hiding them with CtrlZ.
- The analyses are open to all plans.
- If the author has made an analysis private or deleted it, it disappears for everyone else as soon as they reopen the symbol or reload the page.
- An analysis is an analyst's assessment, not investment advice.
